Every project is different as it’s location. As a result, we offer a range of different specifications to suit the requirements of your project. Part of the process includes a personal interface with the design team to discuss which specification is appropriate.
A well prepared and coordinated specification communicates what the project client is buying from the contractor. It deals with scope, quality, activity, and responsibility, and as such complements the contract conditions and other documentation. During construction the specification is used to check the adequacy of the contractor’s work on site, as well as providing a reference point for the determination of variations.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_class=”popup-text” _builder_version=”3.29.3″ text_font_size=”18px” header_3_font=”|700|||||||” header_3_text_color=”#004a8f” header_3_line_height=”1.2em”]
Specification Formats
We understand the complexities and intricacies of what it takes to develop a “watertight” specification. Whilst our principles and processes can remain uniform, there are a number of differing specification formats, which must be followed to suit the local requirements.
We maintain master specification baselines in the following formats in order to serve each region we work:
We have developed our own baseline documents and style of writing for each of the specification formats, suitable for their associated regions, which we believe gives the best protection to our Clients.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
